Aman was founded in 1988 with the vision of building a collection of intimate retreats with the unassuming, warm hospitality of a gracious private home. The first, Amanpuri (place of peace) in Phuket, Thailand, introduced the concept and, since then, Aman has grown to encompass 34 exquisitely serene hotels and resorts in 20 destinations across the world. A further ten properties are under construction, with Aman New York opened in August 2022. The role of Petrie PR

Petrie PR represents Aman in multiple markets across Asia. The agency is tasked with pitching project features, profiling interviews featuring hospitality and wellness experts to leading media titles in each of the distinctive Asian markets, and coordinating media/KOLs review visits. In addition, Petrie PR also identifies and capitalises on partnerships with lifestyle brands, airlines and tourism boards, while also monitoring and sharing market trends intelligence for strategy development.

Aman has long built sanctuaries in the most inspirational locations on Earth. In these diverse settings, sensitive design and architecture connect guests to the spirit of a place, where transformative experiences, warm hospitality, and wellbeing are paramount. Inspired by this philosophy, The Essentials by Aman is a new retail collection comprising of activewear, loungewear, knitwear, swimwear, resort wear and soft accessories. From the sourcing of delicate fabrics to the choice of exceptional craftsmen, each piece in The Essentials collection is designed, developed and manufactured in Italy – a true testament to the collection’s outstanding quality and carefully considered aesthetic.
