This summer, Grand Hyatt Tokyo is offering guests a memorable range of wellness experiences in collaboration with Pokémon Sleep. To celebrate the entertainment app’s first anniversary in July 2024, Grand Hyatt Tokyo will bring the iconic world of Pokémon Sleep to our luxury lifestyle destination with an extraordinary selection of stays, menus and original creations, available between July 1 and August 31.
From immersive stays to charming menus, Grand Hyatt Tokyo’s partnership with Pokémon Sleep focuses on memorable moments of wellness and rejuvenation. The one-of-a-kind Pokémon Sleep Suite recreates the world of Pokémon Sleep in spectacular fashion, with a glamping-style living space, Pokémon Sleep artwork, and in-room dining featuring menu items faithfully adapted from the app. 10 Pokémon Sleep stay packages are also available per night, featuring Pokémon plushies, original amenities and an exclusive breakfast plan to leave you recharged for your Tokyo adventure.
Our restaurants and outlets will also serve imaginative Pokémon Sleep creations, from Snorlax and Pikachu-themed burgers to cookies and desserts inspired by the app’s original recipes. Pokémon Sleep Stay Packages
Throughout the summer, Grand Hyatt Tokyo will be offering two exclusive Pokémon Sleep stay packages to provide guests with an evening of rest and rejuvenation. The highlight of our collaboration is a stay in the Chairman Suite, which has been transformed into a unique Pokémon Sleep Suite that recreates the world of Snorlax and friends.
A stay in the Pokémon Sleep Suite is an immersive adventure, with a living room design inspired by the woodland glades of the game’s Greengrass Isle. Guests can relax in glamping style surrounded by snoozing Pokémon Sleep Plushies attracted by Snorlax’s Drowsy Power, or discover the Pokémon Sleep artwork installed throughout the 120m² suite. When bedtime arrives, guests can enjoy all the luxuries of one of our premium suites, as soft Frette bed linens and comfortable Simmons mattresses ease them into a deep, restorative night of sleep.
Our team will also serve an in-room dining menu composed of dishes adapted from Pokémon Sleep, from “Lucky Chant” Apple Pie to electric blue Craft Soda Pop. These are accompanied by original inventions from our chefs, including a gourmet Snorlax Burger and a breakfast featuring original Snorlax and Pikachu Pancakes.
An additional Pokémon Sleep Stay package is available for only 10 standard rooms per night and offers exclusive amenities, decorations and dining. Upon entering the guestroom, guests will discover a dozing Pokémon Sleep Plush, while a Snorlax Die-Cut Sleeper Towel Blanket is spread out on the bed to help them have a peaceful night’s sleep. Breakfast is held in The French Kitchen, where guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet as well as Snorlax and Pikachu Pancakes prepared by our expert chefs. Original products including tote bags and t-shirts put the finishing touches on a dynamic Pokémon Sleep experience.
Pokémon Sleep Dining at Grand Hyatt Tokyo
Restaurants and outlets across Grand Hyatt Tokyo have prepared a range of delightful creations that dive deep into the world of Pokémon Sleep. The chefs at The Oak Door have developed two spectacular burgers to celebrate the game’s first anniversary, including a 460g gourmet creation fit for a hungry Snorlax. The Snorlax Burger is inspired by this 460kg heavyweight Pokémon and features a 100% American beef burger, bacon, cheddar cheese and smoky tomato relish, all delectably combined in a striking blue bun.
Served in an instantly recognizable yellow bun, the Pikachu Dessert Burger is a spectacular option for guests with a sweet tooth. This indulgent treat is crafted from chocolate and banana sundae, liberally garnished with fresh cream, banana, pineapple, chocolate sauce and salted caramel sauce. With decorations that mimic Pikachu’s ears and tail, this memorable dessert encapsulates the charm of this iconic Pokémon. Both plans are accompanied by a choice of Craft Soda Pop or Neroli’s Flavored Tea, while the Snorlax burger set also includes a Snoozy Tomato Salad as seen in Pokémon Sleep.
At Fiorentina, our chefs are offering another original dessert inspired by Pokémon Sleep in Jigglypuff’s Seasonal Fruit Flan. This nostalgic dish combines a delectable pudding with exotic fresh fruits including mango and melon, perfect for enjoying on the café’s summer terrace. For a takeaway treat, the awardwinning pâtissiers at Fiorentina Pastry Boutique have also created a charming Pokémon Sleep Crunchy Matcha Chocolate and a range of sweets inspired by the game’s delicious desserts, including vanilla Pokémon Sleep Biscuits and Riolu’s Ginger Cookies with a gentle cinnamon fragrance. These limited treats can be purchased individually or as a set to delight Pokémon fans everywhere.
