World Travel Market (WTM) London, the leading global event for the travel industry, will bring the Asia Inspiration Zone to the show this year, a brand new element to make the event more focused on specific destinations. By adding this exciting new dimension to WTM London, the event aims to encourage inspiring regional-focused content on a range of subjects and sectors, as well as networking events. In addition, a series of panel discussions will be hosted at the Asia Inspiration Zone (AS1070) between 5th to 7th of November 2018.

With the continuous increase of Asian exhibitor stands realised across the exhibition, the Asia markets have experienced a significant growth of inbound visitors in 2017. According to UNWTO figures, Asia saw a record of 324 million tourists in 2017 which is a 6% increase compared to the figures in previous year.

Each session at the Asia Inspiration Zone will include speakers and panellists with a focus on Asia as a whole and China in particular as it has more impact on international travel and tourism than any other country. The conference session and seminar will also be looking at Responsible Tourism and how Chinese demands and innovations change the global tourism industry.

Another interesting topic which the speaker will discuss during one of the panel discussions is the successful factors contributing to the Luxury Travel Business. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with leading experts in the field and hear from Jörn Gieschen, the International Tourism Consultant of IE Madrid sharing the most important success factors of the luxury travel trade and hotel businesses globally.
