Spring is in the air at The Opposite House with an all-new weekend brunch offering at its acclaimed Mediterranean restaurant Sureño. Under the leadership of Chef Talib, the kitchen team continues to present a unique gastronomic experience using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
Priced at RMB 348 per person, the brunch menu takes guests into a Mediterranean journey and begins with a vast array of appetisers at the buffet table. Selections include a wide variety of cheese and cold cuts, as well as freshly prepared salads and light bites to wet your appetites.
Favourites such as Eggs Benedict (poached egg, ham and hollandaise), Scrambled Egg (choice of soffritto – onion, pepper, celery, or salmon and spinach) and Country Style Omelette (mushroom or white cheddar) are featured on the menu.
Other mains including Shakshuka (choice of beef, feta, smoked paprika and fennel or feta, puffed barley, tomato and zucchini), Chicken Leg (potato rösti and barigoule purée), Duck Cavatelli (taleggio cream sauce, confit duck leg) and Beef Cheek (potato purée, charred leek and cumin butter). Seafood lovers will delight in Zarzuela (stewed cuttlefish, squid, sea bass, green peas and broccoli).
To cleanse the palate, desserts like Chocolate and Raspberry Tart, Million Layer Tiramisu Crêpe Cake, Nectarine Tatin and many others may be enjoyed.
