The Opposite House collaborates with leading international luxury brand Versace to launch a Versace-inspired afternoon tea at Sureño from 18th March – 30th April 2016. Priced at SGD60* (USD45*) per set, the Versace-inspired afternoon tea is available daily from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and served using the exquisite “Rosenthal meets Versace” tableware. Each set of afternoon tea comes with an exclusive “Rosenthal meets Versace” plate and a leaflet with boutique information.

Inspired by Versace’s bold designs, the chefs at Sureño have combined artistic fashion and exceptional culinary skills to create a one-of-a-kind afternoon tea experience. The bakery and pastry feature Caramelised Apple Tart, Yuzu Curd, Chocolate Amaretti on Chocolate Praline, Pecan Chocolate Brownie, Strawberry Roulade and Mango Dulce Tartelette. An a-la-minute Vanilla Raisin Scone will be served with wildflower honey, Devonshire clotted cream and Executive Pastry Chef Franck Istel’s own recipe of Homemade Strawberry Vanilla Jam. The savoury selection features Crème Brûlée (cauliflower, parmesan, sturgeon caviar), Brioche (shaved prosciutto di parma, foie gras mousse, cherry) and Prawn (ballotine of prawn and salmon, dill, preserved lemon).
Classic tea selections available include Earl Grey, Lemongrass and Ginger, Ceylon and Assam Breakfast. Guests may also select from oriental tea varieties such as Ripe Puer, Premium Jasmine Oolong and Jinxuan Oolong.
