06 Sep Aman Presents A “mushrooms & Truffles” Menu At Arva, Amanyangyun
Autumn, a season of change, is also the best season for mushrooms and truffles. From 14th to 15th September 2018, Amanyangyun’s Executive Chef Andrea Torre will join forces with his counterpart from Aman Tokyo, Chef Masakazu Hiraki, to present a “Mushrooms & Truffles” menu at the lakeside Italian restaurant Arva, situated 45 minutes from the centre of Shanghai. All truffles are sourced from the Yunnan province in the Southwest of China, which is renowned for its truffles.
Chef Andrea Torre joins the team at Amanyangyun from Aman Venice where he was Executive Chef and one of the two co-founders of the culinary concept “Arva”, meaning “Harvest” in Latin. Andrea believes that one of the most important aspects of being a successful chef is understanding where produce is sourced from, the heritage of the dish they are creating and ensuring that only the best quality of ingredients are used.
Chef Masakazu Hiraki, Aman Tokyo’s Executive Chef, gained extensive and authentic experience working at a range of restaurants and hotels, learning expert culinary skills in gastronomy. Chef Hiraki gained 17 years of experience in Italy. He brings a distinct Japanese sensibility to fine global dining, and he strives to create original dishes using fresh, seasonal Japanese and traditional Italian ingredients for both local and international guests.
The 3-course lunch is priced at RMB599* per person and the 5-course dinner is priced at RMB1,299* per person.
